Renaissance Québec and Recyclage Vanier are joining forces!

Quebec, August 5, 2024 – Renaissance Québec and Recyclage Vanier are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at better serving the Quebec and Lévis regions.

Both non-profits, members of the Collectif des entreprises d’insertion, bring nearly 70 years of leadership in social economy, a sustainable and solidarity-based economic model that places people at the heart of their decisions.

“The partnership with Renaissance represents two insertion companies that share values and a common vision centered around a strong commitment to social and circular economy. Recyclage Vanier is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and this partnership concretizes its new strategic vision of being a leader in the social and circular economy in the greater Quebec region,” explains Mathieu Commerçon, General Director of Recyclage Vanier.

A Partnership for the Community
For 40 years, Recyclage Vanier has distinguished itself as a social insertion company in employability by offering collection, processing, and transportation services for confidential and recyclable materials. Under this new partnership, Recyclage Vanier will provide transport and recyclable material services for Renaissance in the greater Quebec region.

In return, Renaissance will integrate Recyclage Vanier’s socio-professional insertion participants into its training activities within its stores and/or donation centers. This collaboration will allow both organizations to advance their respective missions.

Expansion Based on Local Partnerships

Renaissance plans its geographical expansion by establishing strategic partnerships with local organizations. This approach strengthens local initiatives while bringing the benefits of the social economy to a larger number of citizens.

“In anticipation of our arrival in the region, we are meeting with various stakeholders at social, environmental, and economic levels. We are already collaborating with Réno-Jouets and Ressourcerie du Lac St-Charles. The partnership with Recyclage Vanier is a natural alliance of complementary services. It demonstrates the importance of solidarity and mutual support to achieve our common goals,” says Éric St-Arnaud, General Director of Renaissance Québec. Renaissance will open its first location in Capitale-Nationale this month. A donation center located at 1209, Route de l’Église, Quebec, will welcome donors starting Friday, August 23.
