A New Renaissance Boutique Opens in Québec!

Québec City, Thursday, October 9 – Renaissance is proud to announce the opening of its very first Boutique in Québec City, more specifically in Charlesbourg, at Les Halles Fleur de Lys  6950 Boul. Henri-Bourassa, on October 23. This long-awaited arrival in the Capitale-Nationale marks a new milestone for our entirely Québec-based non-profit organization, founded here 30 years ago.

A New Place to Donate and Shop
Residents of Québec who discovered our first Renaissance Thrift at Les Halles Fleur de Lys last June will now be able to enjoy the Boutique experience close to home. This new space, which follows the opening of our donation center on August 5, represents a natural continuation: after being able to donate, the community can now also shop locally and give back in another way.

A More Curated Selection
Renaissance Boutiques stand out thanks to a carefully curated selection: brand-name clothing, almost-new pieces, high-quality accessories, sought-after home décor items, and thoughtfully chosen books. Here, each item is handpicked for its quality and style. Unlike our Thrifts, where shoppers enjoy the fun of a treasure hunt, the Boutique offers a more refined shopping experience—while remaining accessible, tax-free, and refreshed with new arrivals every day.

A Stronger Presence in the Capitale-Nationale
With this first Boutique in Québec City, Renaissance continues its mission: making responsible consumption accessible to all, while supporting people on their journey toward employment, independence, and dignity. Already present in the region with a donation center in Sainte-Foy, a Thrift in Lévis, and another at Les Halles Fleur de Lys, Renaissance is strengthening its roots in the Capitale-Nationale, in collaboration with committed partners such as Recyclage Vanier and Réno-Jouet.

Meaningful Local Partnerships
In the Québec City region, our impact is growing thanks to our collaboration with Recyclage Vanier, a company specialized in managing and transporting recyclable materials. This partnership enables participants in Recyclage Vanier’s socio-professional integration program to take part in the training activities offered in our stores. Together, we are joining forces to create an even greater social and environmental impact.

Every donation and every purchase at a Renaissance store supports a unique circular economy model and a social mission deeply rooted in Québec values. Easily accessible by public transit and offering free parking, this new Boutique is much more than just a place to shop: it is a space for transition, solidarity, and lasting impact.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the Renaissance Boutique experience with you—where shopping becomes both a sustainable and supportive act. Together, let’s continue building a Québec that reflects who we are: proud, responsible, and united.
