Renaissance Opens Its First Location in Capitale-Nationale!
Now open! – As it approaches its 30th anniversary, Renaissance is thrilled to open its first location in the Capitale-Nationale.
Renaissance has been planning its entry into the Greater Quebec City area for several years. This expansion is being carried out in partnership with local organizations to better meet community needs. In addition to collaborating with Réno-Jouets and Ressourcerie du Lac St-Charles, the partnership with Recyclage Vanier is a natural fit, combining complementary services. These two nonprofits bring nearly 70 years of expertise in social and professional integration and waste management.
Recyclage Vanier will provide transportation and recycling services for Renaissance in the Greater Quebec City area. In return, Renaissance will integrate Recyclage Vanier’s individuals in social and professional integration programs into its training activities within its stores. This partnership will enable both organizations to combine their strengths, furthering their respective missions and increasing their collective impact.
Recover, reintegrate, and reinvest locally: this is what we do thanks to the donations we receive.
The Renaissance donation center on Route de l’Église will allow residents of Quebec City to drop off used clothing and items they no longer need, helping to divert waste from landfills. These donations will then be transformed into treasures for customers of the Renaissance Thrift Store in Lévis* while we prepare to open our first store in Quebec City in the coming months.
At Renaissance, used items are recovered, people are reintegrated, and donations are reinvested into the community.
