Renaissance is coming to the Outaouais: Recovering, reintegrating and reinvesting in the region!

Boutique Renaissance ouverte, vêtements, accessoires.

On September 26, 2023, a Renaissance boutique and donation centre opened at Galeries Aylmer in Gatineau. Our arrival in Aylmer marks a new stage in our organization’s history. We are bringing our mission to the Outaouais and expanding our efforts to build a better world. Our new 1,500 square foot boutique will offer a selection of clothing, housewares, toys, books, electronics and more, at low prices and tax-free. And the public will be able to bring their used items to the donation centre at the back.

A logical move

Gatineau was a natural choice for the latest Renaissance location to open outside the Greater Montreal area.

“Gatineau is known for its exceptional quality of life,” says Éric St–Arnaud, CEO of Renaissance. “It’s a young, hip, vibrant city, so it’s a great fit for us as we pursue our mission.”

Building ties with the community

“As it expands into new parts of Quebec, Renaissance is partnering with other organizations to meet the needs of local people and accomplish its mission,” says Éric St–Arnaud. “In the Outaouais region, we have partnered with La Relance because of its recognized local expertise and its alignment with our values and mission. We take this opportunity to congratulate La Relance, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.”

“It is a pleasure to welcome this renowned social economy organization to the Outaouais region,” says André Landry, Director General of La Relance. “For us, the arrival of this partner marks the beginning of a rewarding collaboration that will help improve management of fabrics in the region and benefit the entire community.”
